Signature

Inspired by the idea of chance - the uncontrolled shape created by a falling cable - the Signature luminaire looks like a three-dimensional drawing in space.

The combination of a soft cable connected to a springy, circular structure in plain black gives the viewer the impression of a random, continuous form. At the end of this construction is an elegant, deliberately minimalist lampshade that blends perfectly into the cloud of cable. If one changes the perspective, both the shape of the cable cloud and the lampshade change for the viewer: from a cone to an oblique rectangle.

With its asymmetry and ambiguity, the lampshade made of anodised aluminium underlines the casualness of the new pendant lamp by Ingo Maurer and emits a directed light with a GU10 bulb. Moreover, the lampshade can be touched without any problems. Even important for the set of 3: In combination with several Signature lamps, the lampshade becomes a practical tool. By hooking a cable into the curved end, the lamps can be connected to form a joint constellation. In this way, you can form a large cloud, for example, or bend the downlight and direct it towards the uplight.

The lamp comes with design suggestions from the Ingo Maurer design team as inspiration for optimally setting the pendant luminaire in scene. But there are also no limits to one's own imagination: whether wild weave or symmetrical arrangement - the clips make it possible to connect the cable to the form at any desired point.
