Lucellino Doppio

Like two little birds, the two bulbs of the Lucellino Doppio ceiling and wall lamp by Ingo Maurer sit on their sockets. This fascinating designer lamp presents itself as a design blend of a simple bulb and a feather-light winged creature. Both are also combined in its name: Lucellino is composed of "luce", Italian for light, and "uccellino", Italian for little bird. As early as 1992, Ingo Maurer created the predecessor of this wall light, a winged lamp with only one bulb. The Lucellino lighting family remains one of the designer's most enchanting and popular creations to this day. Since 2022, it has been available with the new "Ambient" light source developed by Ingo Maurer.

The highlight of this original designer lamp is undoubtedly the delicate little wings, which are painstakingly handcrafted and attached. They are made from real white goose feathers. It is the wings that give the Lucellino Doppio its special lightness and positive aura. The wings, attached to two light arms, can be bent in any direction thanks to the typically red Ingo Maurer wires, allowing for individual design.

The new, high-quality Ambient light source is exclusively manufactured for Ingo Maurer. With its gentle light output of 760 lumens (360°), the Ambient bulbs bathe every room in a magical, warm ambient light. A wall light that inspires. The Lucellino Doppio can be mounted on either the ceiling or a wall according to personal preference. This designer lamp can thus set a decorative accent, for example, above the bed in the bedroom, in the hallway, or in the living room above the couch. This high-quality ceiling and wall lamp also enchants every visitor in a salon, hotel, or store. It catches the eye everywhere and invites the viewer to linger: the dimmable Lucellino Doppio with wings made of real feathers (dimmer not included). Due to its special design, the Lucellino Doppio is not suitable for rooms with high humidity.

Ambient is the new LED technology from Ingo Maurer for the Lucellino and I Ricchi Poveri product families. After intensive development, we have produced a light source that comes even closer to the halogen variant. We introduce the Ambient LED bulb, 12 V, 5 W, dim-to-warm. Halogen and LED models from previous generations are no longer available, but bulbs are still obtainable. The "Ambient" LED bulb is compatible with previous LED models but not with previous halogen models. Please note the technical specifications.
