Description
The 24 Karat Blau Wall, designed by Axel Schmid for Ingo Maurer, is part of the 24 Karat Blau luminaire family and exudes a delightful, welcoming glow. The shades are meticulously handcrafted in Japan using a distinctive process that involves enveloping the wafer-thin gold leaf in acrylic, offering protection against airborne impurities. This exquisite wall lamp is ideal for adorning private dining spaces or restaurants, boasting effortless maintenance.
Crafted with gold leaf beaten to a remarkable 1/10,000 mm thickness, it allows the passage of short-wave blue light amidst the molecules, while reflecting a luminous yellow-gold radiance. The interplay of light and gold leaf elevates the ambiance with its captivating warmth and elegance.
The shades each have four holes with which they can be hung on the rod cross at different angles. The linkage is red. The cable is a red isotube (only the top arc is red, the rest is transparent). Aperture size: 7" x 10.5". The light effect can also be created with lamps with LED strings.
